Don't worry, this post won't include any long political speeches, thoughts on health care, musings or rants about either party. This is politics-free zone. But I did want to record for posterity that Will knew about the election today and had opinions about the outcome. I dropped him off at school today and on the way there we talked about how today was an important day because people were voting for the president. I asked Will if he knew what the President's name was and he did - thank you Kindergarten! So we talked about the election for a little while and I explained that people might be picking a different President today, or not. Then Will became pretty worried about what the President would do if he's not the President anymore. "But what will he do???" I told him that the President would find lots of other stuff to do but we'd just have to wait and see how the election went. Then I tried to explain what voting means and didn't do a great job of it and then it was time to be dropped off at school. So we have a future concerned voter in our midst, even if he's not as concerned about the hot issues as he about Presidential unemployment.
