It's time for that annual game of "what's growing out of Lucy's compost bin?" This year's contestant is not as big as the squash/pumpkin/gourd thing that we grew last year. So I'm thinking potato? I know I've seen these leaves before. Maybe canteloupe?
Whatever it is, it probably doesn't stand a chance of seeing fruit or veggie bearing age. This morning was already crisp and cool and I'm actually a little chilly tonight. Is this me complaining about the weather again?! Gardening friends and family, tell me what this is!!

It is definetly not a cantelope. I would say it looks like a potato, although it is a very ambitous one if it is. We have the mysterious squash/pumpkin thing coming out of our compost this year, LOL
