Will had his 15 month check-up on Friday. He's still a healthy boy! He weights 28.4 pounds which still puts him in the 90% percentile and he's 60% percentile in height. The doctor watched him run around the exam room with both hands full of medical supplies (empty sterile pee cups actually) that he'd taken out of a drawer and she commented that his motor skills seem right on track. While we were waiting for the doctor, Will and I played with a plastic model of the internal organs, which gives me hope that he'll be surgeon - after his years in the NFL of course.
Will's learned one new word in the past weeks. He proudly informs you when something is too "hot!" When it's mealtime, I usually blow on his food to cool it down. Now he's figured out that he can take a bite and if it's still too hot, he'll take it out of his mouth and hand it back to me. Not very hygenic, but he gets his point across.
No new pictures this week, I was too lazy to download anything.
A record of all of the little details that I'll inevitably forget to put in their baby books.

Weekend travel
We are back from a long week of travel. Last Thursday, Will, Grandma and Aunt Vicky traveled to Louisville to attend my cousin's wedding. We had a nice trip, the wedding was beautiful and I enjoyed getting to spend some much time with family. A trip with the Dunlap side of the family wouldn't be complete without a tour of an old house. In Louisville, we visited Farmington, a former hemp plantation where future president A. Lincoln once spent 3 weeks! You can tell that I paid attention on the tour. Will, however, did not. He slept most of the time while my cousin Katie (not the one getting married) served as his chauffer.
This picture proves that you can take the kid out of Wyoming, but you can't take Wyoming out of the kid. Here's Will at the reception. It was a warm day and he'd been busy kicking up his heels on the dance floor. I finally took off his shirt and let him be a little redneck baby running shirtless and shoeless. The kid loves to dance. He's got some moves on the dancefloor.
Here's a nice picture of Vicky and I from the wedding. I think we clean up pretty well.
After Louisville, Grandma, Will and I headed to Milwaukee for a work conference. Because of all the rain in the midwest, we had an unexpected stop in the lovely city of Cleveland. Will was a pretty good traveler. He has discovered the thrill of automatic doors and elevator buttons. He's also noticing animals a lot more. I distracted him in the airplane yesterday by looking out the window for birds (at 10,000 feet). He's slowly starting to add to his vocabulary. He now clearly says "more" and he shakes his head "no" a lot. It's a fun age.
